Mansfield, is located in the South Central area of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Strategically located 16 miles south of Arlington (home of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and Six Flags Over Texas), Mansfield provides easy access to everything in the vast and diverse DFW Metroplex. The spring fun starts in March with the annual Pickle Parade & Palooza 5K or 10K run and the World’s Only St. Paddy's Pickle Parade and after party on Main Street in historic downtown. Spring also brings about the annual Dragon Fun Run and other activities for young children followed by a family friendly movie at Town Park Amphitheater. Rockin' 4th of July has quickly become a favorite of residents and visitors for celebrating Independence Day. In mid-October the musical heritage of Mansfield and Texas takes the stage in historic downtown with Festival Week in Mansfield.
