Lake Worth

Lake Worth has excellent freeway access, a growing population, a high traffic count, and competitively low property tax rates—all just a few minutes away just northwest of the City of Fort Worth.

Parks surrounding nearly 3,500 acres of surface lake in the City of Lake Worth are enjoyed by Lake Worth’s visitors and residents. Lake Worth Park offers athletic fields for youth and adult visitors. It has two baseball fields, one softball field, and soccer / football field, a playground and a skate park for all ages. Navajo and Grand Lake Parks are equipped with basketball courts, picnic tables, grills, and playgrounds. Rayl Park is full of shade trees, picnic tables, a playground, and pond that is the home of many aquatic animals and species. Charbonneau Park, is more commonly known at the “Growing up Strong: Kids and Trees” project area. Hodgkins Park is the home to a large covered pavilion with its large grill for outdoor cooking and a playground just across a footbridge. The new Lake Worth Veterans Memorial Park was dedicated in 2013 to the Veterans of our United States Military.

The city offers its own retail and dining options with two new shopping centers opened within the past ten years offering than 1 million square feet of retail space. Its residents are served by the Lake Worth Independent School District.
